A Halloween Zombie Game

Here is a frightening little zombie game to get you in the mood for the big, scary Monday coming up. If you're not afraid of shooting undead creatures who are trying to take over the world, then by all means try to get a high score.

It has nothing to do with my pirate novel, but it's still fun. Has anyone ever beaten zombies before? I mean, when they start taking over the world, don't they always win?

Pirate Jack - Chapter 11

Pirates run the ship and Jack's on it for better or worse.

Happy Halloween to all my listeners. I hope hearing such a strange tale hasn't persuaded any of you to run out and get dressed up in pirate garb for Trick-or-Treating. The neighborhoods I know about could actually use a few more vampires and werewolves this year. And some Frankenstein monsters would be good. Dress up as that Karloff guy. He was scary. Pirates aren't scary unless you're stuck on a boat with them.

Pirate Jack - Chapter 10

Jack's been thrown into the story. He's drowning at sea. Where does he go from here?

This is a longer chapter and starts getting much tougher to read with all the different voices. Boy, would I have fun running around in a pirate movie. Nevermind. I'd just end up feeling ridiculous and quit on the first day. If I start feeling that way with this story, I just make a cup of coffee and think about how ashamed Johnny Depp must feel to be in three pirate movies. But look, he keeps going with it, doesn't he? So there is hope for foolishness after all.

Pirate Jack - Chapter 9

Our hero hits the ocean in this chapter... quite literally. Wildfires encroaching on my hill last week threw me a bit off schedule. So here's the chapter that I was supposed to release last Thursday.

It's very interesting to watch the audience continue to show up for these things. I hope the adventure keeps you all coming back.
